Administration of Medications

The staff at HRC Fertility  has put together this page to assist couples and individuals in administering medications that are necessary for ovarian stimulation.  Fertility injections and medications are an essential part of the process and we will guide you through the simple steps. The majority of couples/individuals undergoing IVF learn how to administer their own injections, whether it is the partner or yourself giving the injection.

Prior to administering your own infertility medication injections, the HRC Fertility staff will provide you with individualized instruction on this process in a preoperative appointment.

Below you will find videos and detailed instructions of injection demonstrations.

We understand that some couples or individuals may not be able to give their own injections for various reasons.  The patient is responsible for arranging injections needed throughout the week, weekends, and holidays. The HRC Fertility nurses are also available during business hours to provide injections for a nominal fee.
