Dr. Marisa Gigg of HRC Fertility West Los Angeles is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinologist and Infertility (REI) specialist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based fertility care tailored to each patient’s unique goals and circumstances.

She believes that exceptional reproductive medicine requires scientific precision, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. Dr. Gigg’s open communication style creates an environment where patients feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout every step of their family-building journey.

Dr. Gigg completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. While attending medical school at Tulane University, Dr. Gigg developed educational curricula for the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine, reflecting her longstanding interest in the role of nutrition in reproductive health.

Her clinical interests include fertility preservation, PMOS (formerly PCOS), oncofertility, and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT). Dr. Gigg has expertise in the genetic causes of infertility, including inherited conditions and age-related chromosomal abnormalities. She uses advanced genetic testing technologies to optimize reproductive outcomes and is passionate about helping patients navigate complex reproductive genetic results with clarity and confidence.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gigg has authored book chapters, presented research at national conferences, and published first-author studies in leading fertility journals. In collaboration with the California Institute of Technology, Dr. Gigg’s fellowship thesis focused on how embryo hatching and biopsy for PGT influence early embryo development. During fellowship, she also helped reestablish the Oncofertility Program at USC, improving coordination between oncology and fertility teams to help patients with cancer access timely fertility preservation care.

Dr. Gigg attended Harvard-Westlake School before earning her bachelor’s degree in Art History from Johns Hopkins University. She lives with her husband and son in Pacific Palisades and is honored to help build families in her hometown of Los Angeles.
