  • Resident physician on the committee to deploy telemedicine for the Obstetrics and Gynecology department in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• UNLV Medicine Coronavirus Task Force – Las Vegas, NV 2020
  • I volunteered at the UNLV Medicine drive-through, curb side testing center to perform COVID-19 testing for hundreds of patients. In addition, I volunteered in the UNLV COVID-19 Call Center in order to screen and schedule patients for COVID-19 testing.
• UNLV School of Medicine OBGYN Interest Group– Las Vegas, NV 2019 – 2023
  • As a resident mentor, I organized various medical student events to increase interest in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Events included postpartum hemorrhage simulation lab, shoulder dystocia simulation, basics in ultrasound workshop (both lecture series and in person), resident panel, and suturing workshops. I also served as mentor for medical students interested in OB/GYN and aided with personal statement writing, preparing for interviews, and clinical research projects.

  • Instructed third year medical students at UNLV School of Medicine on patient safety and quality improvement using the validated curriculum from the Institute of Healthcare.

  • Reviewed past education projects that USC has conducted, analyzed data with literature review of initiatives taken by other universities and formulated four practical recommendations for the University

  • Create education newsletters for email and Instagram posts that focus on educating physicians about fertility and fertility care. Serve as primary content creator and point person for all educational posts on AMWA social media accounts.

  • Resident co- chair on the committee aimed to create a long-term and comprehensive effort to address the issue of female infertility and address challenges in family building for women in medicine. Chair of the research subcommittee working on fertility benefits for residents project and pregnancy complications projects.
