HRC Fertility is proud to announce that Dr. Arian Khorshid will be joining our Foster City practice serving the Silicon Valley Area in Fall 2026.

Arian Khorshid, MD, FACOG is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist who embodies a personalized and practical approach to helping others grow their families.

Empathy, empowerment, and equity are the cornerstones on which Dr. Khorshid has built his professional practice and identity.

His academic journey started as a biomedical engineer at the University of Virginia, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Science with High Distinction. He then ventured to Colorado to serve with AmeriCorps during a year in which he taught sexual education to middle and high-schoolers and volunteered as a birth doula for refugee families. He subsequently obtained his Medical Doctorate at the University of Colorado where he received several merit scholarships for his contributions to medical education and underserved medical care. Dr. Khorshid completed his OB/GYN residency and his REI fellowship at Stanford University during which he was nationally recognized with the 2022 SREI Award for Excellence in REI.

Dr. Khorshid is passionate about consistently achieving the perfect balance of cost-conscious and evidence-based care while embracing innovation to create positive change. His research pedigree and endeavors have thus focused on cost-effectiveness of various IVF treatments, identifying causes of recurrent pregnancy loss, and the role of AI in reproductive medicine. He was awarded a highly selective and prestigious NIH grant for his research on the impact of biologic aging on fertility and pregnancy loss, and he has presented multiple award-winning research papers at national conferences.

A staunch advocate of increasing equitable access to fertility treatments, Dr. Khorshid lobbied to increase insurance coverage for IVF in California. Beyond cost-effectiveness and advocacy, his professional interests include LGBTQ+ family building, onco-fertility, fertility preservation, and recurrent pregnancy loss.

Dr. Khorshid is fluent in English and Farsi. Outside of work, he loves to spend time with his family. He is also an avid backgammon player and is obsessed with tea.
