Dr. Lisa Becht is a double board certified fertility specialist known for her personalized care and dedication to patients. She has expertise in all areas of infertility, fertility preservation, and fertility testing.
Dr. Becht graduated summa cum laude from Boston University and with honors from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed both her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Columbia University- New York Presbyterian Hospital. During her training at Columbia, she was elected to be an Administrative Chief Resident and excelled in various teaching and leadership roles. Prior to joining HRC in 2019, she ran a busy fertility practice at Columbia University Fertility Center where she was the Director of Egg Freezing and Oncofertility and an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Dr. Becht has won many awards, including Vitals Most Compassionate Doctor, Vitals Patients’ Choice Award, and Superdoctors Southern California Rising Star. She has been active in research, with numerous abstracts, publications and national presentations on a variety of topics. Dr. Becht has made multiple media appearances, including two visits to the Today Show and has been quoted in various magazines, blogs and news sources. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is active in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
