Meet Dr. Katherine E. McDaniel, MD, FACOG of HRC Pasadena
Dr. Katherine E. McDaniel, MD, FACOG has joined the caring group of physicians of HRC Fertility and is currently accepting new patients at the HRC Fertility Pasadena office.
Dr. Katherine McDaniel is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility Specialist who is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. McDaniel’s approach to treatment is rooted in compassion and a commitment to understanding the unique story of each patient. She loves building close working relationships with her patients and prioritizes clear, empathetic communication about diagnoses, treatment plans, and outcomes. At every single step of the way, Dr. McDaniel is guided by the latest evidence-based medical research.
Dr. McDaniel grew up in Northern California and studied history at Boston College. Afterwards, she was drawn to life abroad and worked for five years as a management consultant in Munich, London, and Singapore. Dr. McDaniel then returned to the US to complete her medical degree at the University of California Irvine (UCI). She went on to residency at the University of Southern California (USC) and fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
Dr. McDaniel has presented at numerous national conferences, including the American Society of Reproductive Medicine Scientific Congress. Her research has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals on topics that include pre-implantation genetic testing, disorders of sexual development, and price transparency in fertility medicine. In the past, she has served as a reviewer for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. McDaniel loves spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She stays as active as possible by running, hiking, rock climbing, and skiing. Dr. McDaniel completed the Boston Marathon and recently hiked to the top of Mt. Whitney. She is passionate about traveling and can’t wait to show her daughters more of the world!
Dr. McDaniel is fluent in medical Spanish.
